The Portland Thorns started off their 2025 campaign in a very similar fashion to the opening of their 2024 campaign: with a bad loss to the KC Current.

Melina, Phuoc, Sam, and Wilder chatted through the loss, touching on where it went wrong (pretty much from first kick), what needs to change moving forward (pretty much everything), and how we feel about the rest of the season (pretty much the same).
